Accessibility Statement

Last updated September 4, 2026

Mobility is a right. TRANSiA is committed to making travel accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Standards

We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and align with the Accessible Canada Act. Accessibility is part of our design and release process, not an afterthought.

Features

  • Keyboard-navigable interfaces and visible focus states.
  • Semantic structure and screen-reader-friendly labels.
  • Sufficient colour contrast and scalable text.
  • Accessibility filters when planning journeys (step-free, priority seating).
  • Multilingual support, including Indigenous languages (Cree, Inuktitut, Ojibwe).

Ongoing work

We run automated and manual audits and welcome feedback. Some third-party operator content may not yet meet our standards; we work with partners to close gaps.

Feedback

Tell us about barriers you encounter — accessibility@transia.ca. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
